Watson's Tanning Beds Are Stylin'

Watson's tanning beds were introduced into the store's inventory 15 years ago, shortly after tanning bed usage became popular. The store's setup is one of a superstore. You can find Watson' locations throughout the U.S. The store calls itself a toy store for adults, and some of its other inventory includes pool tables, aboveground pools, bar stools, game tables, and gas fireplaces. Tanning beds made a good addition to the spas section of the store and have proven to be big sellers.

The tanning beds sold at Watson's are made for residential use only, and this year they are introducing a stand up bed. The store carries four beds: Avalon, Grande, Elite, and Oasis. All the beds come with 50% more tanning power that is not offered in any other home, or most commercial, beds. The Avalon is the most powerful of the traditional beds with 32 lamps, the Grande next at 28. Both offer additional power in the face and arm section of the bed. The Elite bed has 24 lamps and additional facial tanning power. The Oasis is the stand up bed, and has 36 lamps. The Oasis recommends 10-minute sessions and features a built in timer, and because there is no contact you don't have any risk of ridge marks.

Tanning beds can be a great home addition for someone who wants a year round tan but doesn't have the time or inclination to lie outside for hours. You can get a golden glow in total privacy whenever you have the time, not at the convenience of salon hours.
