Tanning Bed Cleaner: Keep It Healthy

When you tan in a tanning bed, one of your primary concerns is to stay healthy. Tanning beds are a wonderful place for germs to grow, especially if you don't use a good tanning bed cleaner. It's usually dark; people often leave the beds damp and even oily because they fail to clean the acrylic. Then the germs can travel from one person to the next easily because so many people use tanning beds in a given day. Instead of lying in someone else's germs, use a cleaner and clean the bed yourself.

With good disinfectant designed to work with tanning bed oils and with cleaning supplies made specifically for cleaning and polishing tanning beds, you ensure that you don't pick up germs left by previous tanning bed users. When you clean the bed, go over everything you're likely to touch with an antibacterial agent and then dry it well. If you still feel an oily residue clean the bed again. A fan to dry things off will be helpful to keep your bed clean and bacteria free.

While you're disinfecting your tanning bed, you should go ahead and clean the bulbs and the reflective inside. When bulbs are dirty, even though you may not be able to tell, they are not as effective at tanning your skin as a clean bulb. Go over each bulb with special cleaners, or with plain alcohol, and then go over the reflective interior. Polish everything.

With a clean tanning bed, you protect your health and skin and ensure that your tan is as good as it can be. Put together a tanning bed supplies kit, or go online and find a prepackaged kit.
